Comedy Comedy is the new name for the stand-up comedy venue formerly known as the Funny Bone.
The name change follows the Funny Bone's move to the Radisson Hotel Lisle (now the Wyndham Hotel Lisle) last March after 9 years in Naperville.
"Comedy Comedy is a reflection of our new home as well as a change in ownership" says Bert Borth, General Manager and co-owner of Comedy Comedy. "We'll be presenting shows in several different venues at the Radisson. Most will be in our Comedy Comedy Theater where you can take in the show in an intimate theater setting, yet still enjoy a cocktail or beverage at your seat. We'll also be doing some comedy concerts in the hotel ballroom and will feature some open stage shows in a comedy club type of setting.
Borth was previously the general manager of all Funny Bone operations in the Chicago area from 1986 until the birth of Comedy Comedy in 1999. "We've brought in some great shows over the years", Borth says, "and we will continue to do so."
